It provides clarity on procedures such as filing for divorce, reconciliation efforts, custody of children, and division of matrimonial assets under Muslim law. This helps members understand their legal standing, prepare necessary documentation, and make informed decisions during a deeply emotional time, all while respecting their religious and cultural values
Housing & Finance
HDB - Helping Single Parent Households
The HDB’s “Helping Single Parent Households” page is highly important for the Begin Again divorce support group because it outlines specific housing support available to divorced, widowed, or unmarried parents. This information empowers group members to better support their children through the transition, helping them build resilience and emotional well-being. It also reinforces the importance of seeking professional help when needed, making it a practical guide for parents navigating post-divorce parenting challenges.
